DTI, Canada mine firm boost IP culture

 

 

THREAD BY THREAD Project Mun-Abol, which means ‘weave or to weave’ to describe the main livelihood activity of the people of Kasibu, particularly the members of the Alayan Pag-asa Abot-Palad Association, was sealed through the signing of an agreement by the Department of Trade and Industry in Nueva Vizcaya, the Didipio Mine-OceanaGold Philippines Inc., the municipal local government of Kasibu, the barangay (village) local government of Capisaan and the Alayan Pag-asa Abot-Palad Association.

 

KASIBU, Nueva Vizcaya: To officially seal the deal to boost the Indigenous Peoples’ creative industry called “MunAbol” in this upland town, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in this province signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the Canadian OceanaGold’s Didipio Mines to also revitalize the culture of the IPs and ethnic groups.
